New VSL3 formula is available as unflavored form and comes in powder sachets and capsules. VSL3 powder can be consumed by adding it to a non-carbonated, cold beverage of your choice such as water, juice, or milk. Taking VSL3 formula while on antibiotics will reduce it effectiveness due to ability of antibiotics to destroy good and bad bacteria. Patients starting VSL3 formula can experience mild bloating, however there are no other known side effects.
Unlike VSL3, new Visbiome probiotic is available in Flavored and Unflavored Powder form, while VSL3 Flavored Powder packets were discontinued due to a formula change.
Please note:
The formula allows VSL#3 to be stored for two weeks at room temperature. However, we take special care and ship VSL#3 in insulated box and large ice pack. We ship VSL#3 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. While we do not recommend shipping VSL on Thursday, or Friday, we can, if necessary and requested.

Shelf Life: VSL#3 lasts two years from manufacturing date when stored properly (36-46° F or 2-8° C).
