What Are FM Teams in Cricket?
FM teams, or Fantasy Match teams, are virtual squads that cricket enthusiasts create based on real players participating in actual matches. Fans can select players from various leagues, such as the Indian Premier League (IPL), Test matches, or other tournaments. The goal is to score points based on the real-life performance of the selected players.
How Do FM Teams Work?
Creating an FM team involves selecting players across different positions and roles, such as batsmen, bowlers, all-rounders, and wicketkeepers. Points are awarded based on player performance, including runs scored, wickets taken, catches, and other specific achievements. Fantasy cricket platforms provide a scoring system that assigns points to different actions during a match.

Participants can strategize, analyze player performances, and make tactical decisions, adding an extra layer of excitement to the sport.
